Atlantic City Casinos Getting Back In The Halloween Spirit Following One-Year Hiatus

If you fancy theme parties, you must be one of those who felt cheated out of the 2020 Halloween celebrations courtesy of the Covid-19 pandemic. The festivities are on again this year and Atlantic City casinos have a special Halloween treat for their players. For casino enthusiasts, this is the time to either sit down and marvel at the sight of night creatures crawling out of their hiding places or join in and cause a scare.

2020 Halloween costumes must be lying around somewhere and since most people did not step out of their homes, there might be no need to buy another one this year. If you are visiting casinos in New Jersey over the Halloween period, the showing of the Rocky Horror Picture show has already been lined up. Apart from the showing of scary content, casinos will be encouraging their guests to participate in dance contests and costumes displays.

The festivities will be punctuated by free treats and Halloween-themed drinks mixed especially for the occasion. There is finally a green light to get a broomstick and put on scary makeup whether you have a dress to match the occasion or not. 2021 Halloween has arrived and Atlantic City casinos have great activities lined up even for those who have not yet thought about how to spend the day.

Wild West fright fest at the Caesars Casino

The Halloween party at Caesars will be comprised of epic giveaways, spooky drinks, and costume contests. The activities of the big day will however begin on the day before where guests will be treated to a lineup of activities.

Such a big festival will not be a success without matching music performances and the organizers have planned performances by Stealing Savanah with DJ Aiden Scott, Garden State Radio with DJ Aiden Scott and The Benderz with DJ Redline.

A Tropicana AC Halloween tradition

Those who are thinking of visiting the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City over the Halloween season better follow up with their plans; the betting operator has a host of activities lined up for guests to choose from. The fright party starts on the eve of Halloween with dancing to music by the Rocky Horror Picture Show cult. It is going to be a night affair so better rest enough during the day to leave enough energy to enjoy the action.

If you are a fan of the 1975 cult film or have been meaning to watch it, the casino has arranged for one-night-only screening session. The tickets will be selling for $13 and the movie will be watched after 11pm in the night.

For those who will be dressed up hoping to win the prize for the best contest, the show kicks off at the Quarter’s Central Plaza. Don’t be scared if you miss the prize because there are various categories in which you could still make an impression and win; Best Group Costume, Funniest Costume, and The Scariest Costume. Each of the winners under each of these categories will be awarded a cash prize of $500.

Another opportunity for winning will also come up during the official after-party where the total prizes for each of the various categories will add up to a guaranteed prize of $2,500. Although Halloween is largely a festival for the young, these casino night events will be targeting adults over the age of 21 who will not be allowed to participate with costume masks.

Harrah’s Resort’s ‘We All Float Here’

Readers of Stephen King’s novels will find the Halloween theme at Harrah’s to be familiar. The lyrics of “We all float here” will float gracefully over the casino air and this is enough cause to loosen up during the entire Halloween weekend. The first day of the festivities will feature music mixes by DJ Kastra while day two will be graced by DJ Pauly D.

The Poll After Dark phenomenon has with time evolved into a tropical oasis environment that bears a sophisticated feel and effortlessly merges with the drink and food presentations. Going to Harrah’s over Halloween is opening up your eyes and mind to surprises because the management guarantees an extraordinary box nightlife experience.

Two resorts for a scary Halloween party

Halloween parties are supposed to be scary and some people will only be content with the festivities if they get a good scare. There are two venues in Atlantic City; LandShark and Margaritaville which will be hosting fright parties over the weekend. The curtains will come down at midnight and this is when guests to the two venues are expected to experience real creepiness.

Guests are encouraged to think carefully about the attire they will be wearing as there will be numerous prizes given in honor of those whose costumes will impress the judges. For the best night experience, plan to attend the night costume contest at Margaritaville from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m followed by LandShark from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The staying alive party at Bally’s AC

The mood at Bally’s has already switched to Halloween and the organizers have already lined up a costume contest, a New York Bee Gees Tribute Show and with spooky cocktails. The highlight of the Halloween festivities is a live concert by Bee Gees covers; it will be starting at 10 p.m. on the 6th floor.

Over the duration of the entire Halloween weekend, casino visitors will be treated to a cocktail of fright-focused events organized by the various casinos in AC. Some of the holiday themed cocktails that will be served in casino bars include Devil’s Margarita, Candy Corn Martini, and Grave Digger. Those who have tasted these drinks before can attest to their delicious taste and many will be drawn back for a fresh taste. Set aside $13 for each of the cocktails you are planning to take; guests can partake of their cocktails as they devour food served by Guy Fieri’s Chophouse or and Jerry Longo’s Meatballs.
